What were some indications which showed that the victim was facing problems before he commited the rash act?
Answer: The victim, Mr Widjaja, was a computer game, "World Of Warcraft" player. Before the rash he made, he was seldom seen outside his hostel room and stopped replying MSN messages sent by his friends.Many of the students said that the victim was a cheerful person. However, in the last semester, he began to change.
He would play his computer game as long as 6 hours, even though he had a deadline of 10 March to hand up his draft for his Final-Year Project. The victim would usually stop playing the computer game when there is a examination or a project.

(a) Is it very stressful being a student in Singapore? Explain.
Answer:
I sometimes feel that studying in Singapore is very stressful. Singapore is a developed country, thus, it is very competitive to earn a suitable and good job in the country. Students have to take up around 8 to even 10 subjects, which is stressful. Adding to that, exams and tests happens frequently, like around 2-3 tests a week.
CCA is also very stressful too. CCA should be taken up by everyone. CCA can be stressful as there are many expectations from the school. Like becoming the top Uniform Groups in the nation, winning championships in sports, and winning in SYF. My CCA, SJAB, requires me to go for training for 1 to 2 times, which will take up most of my time revising my work.
(b) What are some problems you face as a student which adds to your stress level?
Answer:
In order to well in school, tuition is essential for me to excel. There may be tuition work in my tuition, adding to my stress.
In school, there are projects, CCA, homework. They requires alot of time, taking up my time for entertainment. Thus, it adds stress to me.

Question 1 What are some reasons stated in the article why some people choose to have body art like tattoos or piercings done on parts of their body?
Answer: Some people want to be different from the others. They are trying to escape the run-of-the-mill, which means to be fashionable. It is said that some young people wants to be the centre of the attention.
Question 2 (a) What are some impressions you would form of a person whose body is covered with tattoo? (b) Would you consider getting a tattoo in future? Why?
Answer: (a) In the past, I would think that such people are gangsters because of their tattoo. After I read this article, I realized that it is a fashion to have tattoos. I would also consider them as daring people as they are not scared of the pain. (b) I would not want to have a tattoo. It will cost me a lot of money. Having tattoo is pain. The range of cost of tattoo is $70 to $1000. When I grow up and find a job, the boss employer may have a bad impression of me, thinking that I am a gangster. It would affect my future.

Question 1 State any two reasons mentioned in the article which contributes to the sharp rise in girls under 16 having sex. Answer: The first reason is that some girls were under peer pressure. Their friends had sex before and they wanted to follow them, mainly to have fun. They were under the bad influence of friends, which led them to this mistake. The second reason is that the girls under 16's boyfriends pressurized by their boyfriends. They felt that having sex is the only way to prove both of their love. It is also a way to keep the boyfriend for as long as possible. What are some consequences which a girl might face for engaging in casual sex? Answer: First, they might have unplanned to have babies as they did not use contraceptives. They would then resort to abortion. Abortion will make the girl suffer next time when she is pregnant. Second, both parties might get Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD). If one of the party do not know they have the disease, the other party might suffer as once they have sex again, the disease might start transmitting. Having STD might lead to death or future infertility. Babies that are born might also be affected.
Question 2 What are some of your reactions after reading this article? If one day, a close friend of yours confess to you that he/she has been engaging in sex, what would your advice to him/her be?
Answer: I felt shocked when I read the article. Such a large number of young girls having sex in a young age is a total shock. These young girls do not even think before they act. They did not think of the consequences at all. If the girl gets pregnant, it may be serious matter. Teenagers do not have the money to support their babies. Even if they undergo abortion, in the future, they might have difficulty when they are pregnant.
If one day, my friend confessed to me, I would try to stop them from doing the same thing again. I will tell him/her the consequences of having sex in a young age. I will then teach him/her ways to avoid having sex. However, if my friend does not heed my advice, I would respect his/her decision.

Question 1 State any two reasons mentioned by students why extra tuition is needed.
Answer:The first reason is that some students cannot cope with the school work. They think thatconsulting their teachers is very difficult. The teachers are either busy or no time to book an appointment. They felt that tuition is the only way to manage with their school work. In tuition, they can ask questions from their tutors anytime they want. The second reason is tuition is a way to socialize with other school people. They can know the styles of other schools. Most importantly, tuition helps students to befriend more friends.
Question 2 Do you think it is necessary for you to have tuition? Why?
I think that it is necessary for me to have tuition. With tuition, I was able to pass my Math with flying colours. In my primary school days, my Math's results was very lousy. But luckily, I attended tuition. Also, I have many friends in my tuition classes.
